Phillip Sprayberry
Phillip Sprayberry, DLitt, is an author, stage director, and educator specializing in arts and communication. Based in the NYC area, he holds a doctorate with distinction from Drew University, an MA from NYU, and a BA from Lipscomb University.
After a 25-year career in arts education in the South, he moved north to direct and teach and serve as media relations coordinator for William Paterson University. Sprayberry has authored three books: All I Ever Needed was the Music: A Biography of Edward Kleban (lyricist of A Chorus Line), CHEERS! The Joy of Toasting, and he is the lead author of MARQUEE MOMENTS: Essays by Theatre Lovers. He is currently writing a guide on professional and social communications for college students.
