It is 1897, and Sherlock Holmes is investigating a murder that took place during a society ball. Philip Purser-Hallard is the author of the trilogy of urban fantasy thrillers beginning with The Pendragon Protocol, and the editor of a series of anthologies about the City of the Saved.
