About the Author

Peter’s career began with Music Time for BBC Television in London. In 1987, his Toffee Apple album became the first children’s recording to be awarded an ARIA, followed by ARIAs for Newspaper Mama and Live & Rocking. His songs are catchy, rich in both musical and lyrical content, quirky, often simple but sometimes quite sophisticated and irresistibly singable. In 2005 his CD, Wake up it’s Christmas was the first ever children’s CD to be voted ABC Radio National’s Album of the Week. Peter’s career began with Music Time for BBC Television in London.
