Pauline Jarvis is a professional genealogist specialising in Scottish ancestry, archival research, and the histories that connect Scotland to the wider Atlantic world. She brings more than twenty years of genealogical experience to her work and is guided by a deep interest in the stories that shape families and communities across generations.
Her research has supported descendant‑led projects in the United States, including efforts to document individuals enslaved on major American plantations, and she has contributed to archaeological and historical investigations in Virginia. Pauline has written for the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society and Family Tree Magazine. She holds an MSc in Genealogy, Palaeography and Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde.
