About The Author
Paula Nagel
Paula Nagel was South Australia’s first female presenter of ABC television’s This Day Tonight, making her small-screen debut in 1967. She worked for the national broadcaster for 21 years before transitioning to roles in the boardroom, marketing, sponsorship, and headhunting. From 2006 to 2010, she served as International Education Adviser to the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. In 2014, she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for her significant contribution to higher education, the arts, and the community.
