Genghis Khan

Greg Harvey, the author of more than 50 computer books, has had a long career of teaching business people the use of IBM PC, Windows, and Macintosh software application programs. From 1983 to 1988, he conducted hands-on computer software training for corporate business users with a variety of training companies (including his own, PC Teach). From 1988 to 1992, he taught university classes in Lotus 1-2-3 and Introduction to Database Management Technology (using dBASE) in the Department of Information Systems at Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

Paul Ratchnevsky was Emeritus Professor of Sinology at Humboldt University in Berlin, and best known for his three-volume work Un Code des Yuan.

Thomas Nivison Haining CMG served for over 30 years in the diplomatic service, including as Ambassador to Mongolia. He is currently an honorary Research Associate in History at the University of Aberdeen.

Genghis Khan was the founder of the Mongol Empire, the largest continuous land empire ever. On his death in 1227, this extended from the Near East to the Yellow Sea, and was expanded by his successors to include what is now Iran, Iraq and southern Russia.
