About The Author
Paul Harrison
Paul Harrison is a full time writer, and author of 36 published books. The vast majority of his books cover the world of mysteries. A retired police officer, he uses investigative techniques to uncover new detail and facts to help rationalise myths and legends, and give them social perspective. Paul has travelled extensively researching tales and legends surrounding the Pharaoh’s Curse, and spent a considerable time in Egypt committing to archaeological digs and research. His particular Egyptology interest being that of the 18th Dynasty. As an active member of the worlds explorer society, and the mystery and imagination group, he is a highly popular speaker at events and conferences, discussing the darker side of humanity and in particular, that of ancient Egypt. He has previously carried out expeditions to the Congo, in search of Mokele Mbembe, the world’s last known dinosaur, and to the Amazon, in the footsteps of missing explorer Percy Harrison-Fawcett.
