What They're Saying

Critics Review

‘A splendid collection of deeds and misdeeds of the good, the bad and the downright nasty and the places they frequented.’ * James Morton, best-selling crime author *
‘With his deeply engaging forensic style at its best, Paul Donnelley has done it again! The Notorious Guide to Britain is a bulging treasure chest of gems, a dip-in-and-out must for trivia junkies and a sheer delight for anyone who’s curious about our great nation. It’s a witty, compelling, well-researched, utterly lovable book that you’ll buy as a kind gift … but end up keeping.’ * James Steen, best-selling author *
‘The Notorious Guide To Britain is the best trivia book of the year, the decade and probably the century. Paul Donnelley is the finest researcher in Britain but he doesn’t just know what to put in: he also knows what to leave out. No show-off he! Just the facts, Jack - and these are absolutely splendid.’ * Mitchell Symons, best-selling author *
