Patricia Graham

Professor Patricia Graham is an Honorary Professor at the University of Strathclyde. She is a registered Clinical Psychologist and a medico-legal expert, holding memberships with the British Psychological Society of Expert Witnesses, the Expert Witness Institute (Affiliate Member), and The Law Society of Scotland. She is also an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS), a distinction recognizing her extensive experience and contributions to psychology.

Professor Graham is a recognized leader, having served as the retired Director of Psychological Services for NHS Lanarkshire, Scotland. Her career spans thirty years in mental health service delivery, evidenced psychological interventions, and clinical governance. Before retiring, she held significant national roles as the Joint Chief National Assessor for the profession of Psychology in the UK and Lead National Assessor for Scotland, representing the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Association of Clinical Psychologists (ACP).

She is the co-author of Overcoming Bulimia Nervosa, Overcoming Anorexia Nervosa, and The Cambridge Guide to Interpersonal Psychological Therapy (IPT), and has authored numerous book chapters. Professor Graham also authored the NHS Inform Self Help Guides: Depression and Anxiety and serves as a series editor for Cambridge University Press. She provides expert psychological insight and training as an advisor and mentor to medical defence barristers.

Christopher Freeman

Dr. Chris Freeman was an honorary professor at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. As a consultant psychiatrist, he dedicated over forty years to creating and leading eating disorder services. He managed outpatient, day patient, and inpatient units, and most recently, an intensive home treatment team for severe anorexia nervosa, all within the Edinburgh/South-East Scotland area.
