About the Author
Pat Juarez, RN, MS (Illinois) has critical care nursing experience as a clinical nurse specialist (CNS), staff nurse, and educator, and she held the CCRN credential for more than 40 years. As the clinical development specialist for critical care, Pat developed and provided oversight for the critical care nursing curriculum for a large health care system for more than 10 years.
