María Paula Bermúdez Quintana -Pali- is an author and bilingual communicator born in Cartagena, Colombia, and based in California, United States. She studied Psychology and Communication at Texas Christian University (TCU).

Pali writes illustrated stories that help families discuss life’s big emotions, changes, and everyday experiences with calm and confidence. She is the creator of the series Aventuras de Algodón / Bunny Tails, inspired by conversations with her children and the small rituals of daily care. Her books combine sweet, relatable stories with social-emotional learning, featuring reflective questions, invitations for dialogue, and cozy illustrations that open meaningful conversations at home and in the classroom.

The first title in the series, El gran deseo de Mila / Mila’s Big Wish, is specifically designed for families preparing for the arrival of a new baby, as well as for caregivers and bilingual or dual-immersion classrooms.
