P. J. E. Peebles is a Nobel Prizewinning physicist and the author of Principles of Physical Cosmology, Quantum Mechanics, and Physical Cosmology (all Princeton). He is the Albert Einstein Professor of Science Emeritus in the Department of Physics at Princeton University.
