Critics Review
Captivating… This exploration of unfinished relationships has a haunting, evocative quality, and is a perfect, conversation-starting selection for book groups * Publishers Weekly *
An effective exploration of connections that transcend physical boundaries…. a poignant story about longing, nostalgia, and the pain of missed opportunities * Kirkus *
Immersive … George’s fluid and lyrical prose carries the reader along as the story alternates from languid scenes to heavy emotions. It’s a worthy choice for the beach bag * Publishers Weekly *
George crafts lushly drawn settings that act as supporting characters, a talent on full display here as Brittany’s rugged coastline and powerful tides mirror the emotional turbulence of the novel’s protagonists. One Night in Paris is a powerful portrait of two women choosing to act on unexpected desires, regardless of age or circumstance. * Booklist (starred review) *
