Nimra Afzal
Dr. Nimra Afzal is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Central Punjab. She holds a Ph.D. in Zoology from the Institute of Zoology at the University of Punjab, specializing in environmental health. Dr. Nimra has experience from international research laboratories, including the University of Cranfield and the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. Her research interests include the physical and biological characterization of aerosols, their spatio-temporal dynamics, ecosystem health monitoring, and wildlife studies. Her current focus revolves around projects exploring the abundance and characterization of microplastics across different environmental matrices. Dr. Afzal has published her research findings in reputable Q1 journals.
Dr. Muhammad Babar Khawar completed his Ph.D. at the State Key Laboratory of Stem Cell & Reproductive Biology, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received the “Chinese Government Outstanding Scholarship for International Students,” the “Excellent International Student Award” in 2019, and the “Excellent International Graduate Award” in 2020. He has over 70 publications and has contributed four book chapters to international research books.
