Kiera and Lamby

Nicole O’Connor’s passion for travel and learning has shaped the course of her life-from the quintessential study abroad in Spain, to soul searching in Costa Rica, to event planning in cities like Cairo, Lima and Seoul. She went on to get a master’s in international education from New York University and has spent the last decade fundraising and storytelling for a global children’s nonprofit. Dozens of countries and countless adventures later, Nicole hopes to spark this passion in her own two daughters-and other kids around the world-through her Kiera and Lamby book series. When she’s not writing, you can find her either dreaming of where her own magic blanket might take her next or telling ghost stories and naming trees with her husband and girls in their Connecticut home.
