What They're Saying

Critics Review

‘Laura never stopped fighting for a better world and her star continues to shine brightly. The bond she shared with her mum, Nicola, is a beautiful reminder of the power of love and of finding the joy in life. Their story is heartbreaking and inspiring in equal measure and a must-read.’ Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester

‘Nicola Nuttall gives a beautiful and emotionally-charged account of dealing with the news that her daughter, Laura, was given 12 months to live after a glioblastoma diagnosis and how she helped Laura tick off an incredible bucket list in the time she had left. Simultaneously heart-wrenching and inspiring, this book is a testament to the power of love, positivity, and family.’ Jo Porter, the Brain Tumour Charity

‘So powerful, so profoundly affecting, absolutely heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. What a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, and the enduring strength of love and family.’ Clare Allan
