Pengu & The Fox

Sometimes, Pengu waddles meekly away from her pack, her fins hunched over in sadness, her beak narrowed in silent despair.
She feels at odds with other penguins, like her feathers never fitted in.
Sometimes, she bows her long neck and looks at her flippers in sadness, pondering.
Surrounded by her family and all members of the Penguin raft, she has never felt so painfully alone.
But little does Pengu know that a four-legged creature, with red fur so bright, is waiting, waiting just for her! Pointy black ears so poised. And don't forget the magnificent tail!

Nicola O'Shea-Korbut is the author and illustrator of Pengu & The Fox. She grew up in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, has obtained a Biomedicine degree at Monash University, and is now following her passion for children's learning with a Primary Education Degree.Writing has always been a passion of hers. Her greatest hope when writing her books is that these words give a voice to the children who can't articulate how they feel. She believes that children all around the world should have a voice, and know that they are never alone in their pain. Nicola hopes her stories are more than just words written in print, that they can have a lasting effect on your life and be the hand to guide you through your troubles.
