About The Author

Nick James

Professor James is Professor and Deputy Dean at The Institute of Cancer Research and The Royal Marsden Hospital. He is a world leading researcher on advanced prostate and bladder cancer. He recently chaired a Commission on Prostate Cancer for The Lancet. James co-founded one of the oldest patient information websites in 1994. He set up the Man Van project, aimed at improving outcomes in men at high risk of late diagnosis of prostate cancer.
