Mission: Playtime!

Nelly Buchet is the author of Cat Dog Dog, a picture book praised as a “magnum opus” by Shelf Awareness. The book earned starred reviews from Kirkus and The Bulletin and was recognized as an American Library Association Notable Book, among other accolades. Buchet was awarded a Dalai Lama Fellowship and has experience teaching nonviolent resolution in schools. She resides in Berlin.

Clara Reschke views illustration as a profound responsibility, directly engaging children with essential themes through visuals that foster empathy, belonging, and understanding. Her passion for books was first nurtured by her grandfather, with whom she created picture books from childhood, initially with traditional media and later with digital tools. Reschke graduated with a degree in design and studied at Cardiff Metropolitan University. She previously worked as a designer for a company specializing in fun design, contributing to projects for clients such as Warner, Wizarding World, and Peanuts. As a professional digital illustrator, Reschke has illustrated children’s books internationally, worked in the animation industry, and collaborated with notable clients including Whiskas and Unicef Brazil.
