Pedri’s clear and engaging edited volume is the first book available on the debated issue of comics and intermediality, fulfilling a need for a volume including a coherent reflection on what intermediality means when associated to the study of graphic narratives, as well as a set of chapters with analyses of specific aspects of intermedial comics.–Nicoletta Mandolini, author of Representations of Lethal Gender-Based Violence in Italy Between Journalism and Literature: Femminicidio Narratives
