Critics Review

We need to reimagine a more human-centered and sustainable way of conducting business. One that combines the advantages of emerging technology with the uniquely human strengths that we can all bring to the table. Internal Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence shows how, despite new technology and new ways of working, building relationships, communicating effectively, and promoting strong, purpose-driven leadership is what matters, and will continue to matter. Monique’s engaging way of looking at internal communication and her multilayered model gives us a pathway to a more human centric future and positions organizational communication as one of the essential tools to navigate the complexity and disruption to come. An essential thought-provoking read.” - Aaron McEwan, VP, Research & Advisory, Gartner, Sydney, Australia“Internal Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence is a testimonial to the transformative power of IABC’s global IABC network of thought leaders and communication experts. In this book, Monique draws on her multifaceted experience in corporations and as a consultant to educate readers about the potential of generative AI in enabling (not replacing) human-centered communication. Through an engaging storytelling format, Monique takes us inside her world, drawing upon theory and practical examples to illustrate internal communication effectiveness in today’s and future AI-powered business environments. I highly recommend this book to leaders and communication professionals.” - Maliha Aqeel, International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Global Board Chair, Toronto, Canada“Internal Communication in the Age of Artificial Intelligence by Monique Zytnik is a must-read for business leaders and communicators. The book explores the impact of AI on internal communication and provides practical insights, useful global case studies, expert opinions—as well as links to great podcasts. Monique Zytnik uses compelling storytelling to emphasize the importance of effective internal communication for business success and discusses the challenges and opportunities presented by new AI technology. The book is well-written, lively, and informative and provides a modern, multilayered approach to internal communication. A really valuable resource for anyone looking to improve their internal communication strategy and impact in the age of AI.” - Morten Dal, Change Management & Customer Success Management, Microsoft, Copenhagen, Denmark
