Monica Garofalo
Monica Garofalo was born, lives, and works in Trento, a city in northern Italy. She graduated in Graphic Design and Multimedia at the LABA academy and was selected in 2014 and 2015 for two exhibitions at MAG. She came in second place in the competition organized by Lucca Comics for Sammontana in 2014 and was selected for the “Libraries in fiore” competition in 2018.

Maggie Fischer is originally from Oregon but settled in Seattle, Washington, after receiving her B.A. in English from Gonzaga University. As the daughter of a children’s librarian, she has a special place in her heart for all books, especially children’s books. She has written books for Nickelodeon, Disney, Mattel, Hasbro, and DreamWorks, as well as original board books, nonfiction books, and activity books.
