Critics Review
“Brown does it again with this seventh entry in the “Lola Levine” series with kid-friendly wordplay, dinosaurs, and sibling antics…. For fans of Judy Moody and Stink, this has fantastic crossover and great cover appeal. A must-purchase.” –School Library Journal, starred review“Lola’s Peruvian American heritage remains a welcome instance of racial diversity in the early-chapter-book space. Her friendships and friction with classmates feel true to life, but it’s Lola’s enthusiasm and sweet family dynamics that will keep readers coming back to her world.”–BooklistPraise for the Lola Levine Series: “If you’ve never had a best friend, Lola Levine will undoubtably become your first. Her appeal is boundless.”–Rita Williams-Garcia, Coretta Scott King Author Award winner for One Crazy Summer
