About The Author
Mohammed Meah
Dr Mohammed Meah is Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in Medical Physiology at the University of East London, London, UK. He has degrees in Physiology and Biomedical Engineering, is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has over 25 years’ experience teaching physiology. His research is focused on the effects of mental and physiological stress on heartbeat variability, blood pressure, and breathing. He has also published, ‘Essential Laboratory Skills for Bioscience’ and ‘Essential Statistics for Bioscientists’.
