About The Author

Mohammad Rihan

Dr. Mohammad Rihan is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India. He is also a visiting scientist at the National Institute of Solar Energy. As the Convener of the Green University Project, he has been leading the integration of solar power with the distribution grid at AMU for the last six years. His efforts led to the installation of 6.5-megawatt solar plants on campus. His research interests include wide area measurement systems (WAMS), synchrophasor measurements, smart grids, and control systems and their applications. He is a fellow of IET, UK, and IE, India. He authored a book titled Advanced Control Systems in 2012.
