Mischa Berlinski is the author of two novels: Fieldwork (which was shortlisted for the US National Book Award) and Peacekeeping. He has written for the New York Review of Books, Men’s Journal, and Harper’s, and his work has been included in Best American Essays and Best American Travel Writing. He lives in Istanbul.
