About The Author
Miriel Lenore
Miriel Lenore (1928-2024) spent her life exploring questions of ecology and place. From her early work as a botanist, to her time at an agricultural school in Fiji, and her fascination with Australian rock art, Miriel’s work was deeply rooted in her experiences. Her poetry also reflects her perspectives as a feminist, mother, grandmother, and a pioneer. Miriel explored the complex questions of the white settler story: where is home and how do we live here?
