About The Author
Minerva Siegel
Tomás Hijo is an illustrator and professor of illustration at the University of Salamanca in Spain. He has illustrated over seventy books and written ten, focusing on legends and folklore, from ancient myths to creepypasta, medieval miracles, and the history of magic. His interest in these subjects has led him to collaborate with prominent Spanish radio and television programs on Forteana and paranormal phenomena.
Hijo’s preferred medium is printmaking, and his artwork is held in private collections worldwide, including those of Guillermo del Toro and Mike Mignola. His work has been exhibited in galleries across Europe and the United States. His fascination with H. P. Lovecraft inspired “Nictonomicon,” a print collection that has garnered significant attention within the Lovecraftian community. In 2015, he received the Best Artwork Award from the Tolkien Society for his illustrations inspired by J. R. R. Tolkien’s works.
Minerva Siegel is a writer, author, sensitivity reader, tarot consultant, and a practicing witch. She resides in a Victorian home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with her husband and their rescue dogs.
