About The Author
Mike King
Dr. Mike King, a pediatric dentist and comedian, charms young patients with humor and magic. He’s penned children’s books Ruby Finkelman Finds the Real Magic, Flossopher and the Brushing Trees and Enamel the Camel, as well as the touching Dad Spelled Backward, detailing his path to fatherhood. Mike resides in NYC with his family.
Shahar Kober is an award-winning illustrator who has illustrated over 70 children’s books including work by former Children’s Laureate Michael Mopurgo, Israel’s national poet Hayim Bialik and award-winning children’s author Adam Lehrhaupt. His illustrations have been exhibited internationally. He lives in Israel near Haifa where he teaches at The Haifa University School of Design.
