Critics Review
“I Had to Say Something is like a story created by a great genius of drama, Atrhur Miller or Henrik Ibsen. Two men brought together as if by fate, one epitomizing the repression and judgment, as well as the resulting hypocrisy, of society, the other embodying the struggle to remain authentic and avoid being crushed by other people’s conflicts. Mike Jones tells his story with such simplicity, unguarded openness, and vulnerability that you feel like you know him, and would like to know him better.” –Judith Light, Emmy Award-winning actress and equal rights activist “This story is an inspiration. Mike is a lesson to us all that courage, honesty, integrity and empathy can be found in what many people would assume are the most unlikely places.” –Johnny Galecki, actor/producer
