Mike Carey
Mike Carey, also known by his pen name M. R. Carey, is a British writer, recognized for his work in comic books, novels, and films. He is best known for writing the acclaimed series Lucifer, a significant run on Hellblazer, and contributions to X-Men: Legacy, along with his novel The Girl with All the Gifts and its film adaptation.
Michael Avo Oeming was born in El Paso, Texas and is a comic book penciller and writer. He is known for using a stark art style to tell stories with sophisticated and mature subject matter. He began his career drawing Norse Gods as he is a fan of Norse mythology, but used to arm wrestle as well.
His comic book debut story, Bulletproof Monk, was his first project, critically acclaimed, and was made into a movie.
