About the Author
Michelle L Platt was born in Ottawa, where she currently resides. From a young age she developed a profound love for history, storytelling and the arts. Her schooling led her to major in psychology at the University of Ottawa, a field well-suited to her patient and compassionate personality. Michelle's escape from the demands of daily life lies in the interests she has cultivated since childhood, leading her to become a miniaturist par excellence. During the isolation of the pandemic, she converted her fantasies into words. In this novel, her inner child and vivid imagination take her to Victorian England, where she lives her historical dreams in the stories at Alesther House.
