About The Author
Michael Turner
Michael Turner began his career in 1994 at Top Cow Productions, co-creating the popular indie comic series Witchblade. In 1998, he debuted his creator-owned series, Fathom, which became the best-selling comic book of that year. In 2002, Michael left Top Cow Productions to start Aspen MLT LLC., and created the hit indie title Soulfire, while continuing Fathom. Later, Turner collaborated with DC Comics to produce the return of Supergirl in Superman/Batman. He also provided covers for many DC Comics’ titles, including Justice League of America, and earned an Eisner Award nomination for his covers on Identity Crisis. Turner went on to illustrate covers for Marvel Comics, including the Civil War series, as well as covers featuring Spider-Man, Wolverine, and the Fantastic Four. His work for Marvel and DC Comics solidified his iconic status as a beloved cover artist and comic book penciler.
