Michael Schanhals worked as an educator in the North Muskegon Public Schools District in Michigan for 30 years and is now a writing instructor at Hope College. He has been a part of the AP College Board Redesign Committee for AP English Literature as well as an instructor. Michael is part of the National Writing Project Fellowship and is a Drawbridge Technology Consultant. He holds a BA in English from Hope College as well as an MA in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Writing from Michigan State University.
