Count Munch was a very unusual vampire. He didn't like doing those creepy things that other vampires did - scaring lonely travellers in the dark forest, gnawing on necks, or even turning himself into a bat. Somewhere along the way, things had gone terribly wrong. All Count Munch liked to do was eat chocolate... and lots of it!
Since starting his career back in 1967 with solo exhibitions of his cartoons and paintings, Michael has been busy entertaining young Australians with 176 children's books, toys, merchandise items, theatre and television work. Michael spends most of his time these days visiting primary schools around Australia having fun, drawing his cartoons and encouraging students to develop their own creativity. Also by Michael Salmon: The Monster Who Ate Australia, Bobo, My Superdog and The Down-under 12 Days of Xmas.
