This book provides a much needed, easy to use resource for parents to understand and manage their child’s anxiety”. – Dr Fiona Noble MBBS FRACP Paediatrician“More children than ever before are experiencing anxiety. If you can teach kids how to be the boss of their anxiety you are also teaching your kids to be resilient” * 6PR *“A first rate guide for parents and the understanding it engenders needs to be available as your child grows. Certainly, the structures put in place need to begin from a very early age.” * Blue Wolf Reviews *“Filled with practical ideas, this will prove an ideal guide for the parents and children who struggle with anxiety.” * Library Journal *“Michael Hawton, author of The Anxiety Coach (Exisle Publishing, 2023) says around 30 percent of children with anxiety are born with an anxious temperament, but for the majority it’s learned behaviour (so it can be unlearned too).” * Australian Women’s Weekly *“Many children have internalised the mistaken idea that good mental health means feeling good all the time. But discomfort is not a problem to be solved, it’s a necessary part of life we all must learn to willingly endure. Children rely on adults to provide them with this perspective and we let them down when we don’t” * The Australian Opinion piece *
