All the papers included were originally given at the 1st International Lauener Symposium on Analytical Philosophy, which accompanied the Presentation of the first Lauener Prize to Patrick Suppes. His detailed commentaries on each of the revised articles as well as the added interview elicit a spirit of constructive academic conversation.
