Description
In the last two decades, there have been numerous applications of the Delphi technique in a large number of fields. However, there is no easily accessible literature to guide the potential user of the technique. This introductory book aims to make the reader acquainted with the special uses of the Delphi method in social planning. It discusses important methodological and practical issues which need to be considered if the technique is to be applied successfully (for example the important aspect of computerization), it illustrates the use of the technique by presenting case studies and assesses the potential of the method for social policy and planning.
