About The Author
Max Solling
Sydney author Max Solling is the current holder of the History Council of NSW Annual History Citation, recognising his outstanding works. He has written several landmark histories including Grandeur and Grit, the history of Glebe. He is a founding editor of the Leichhardt Historical Journal and is also a practising solicitor. His work in community history saw him awarded an OAM. Max is passionate about sports history and is a former Australian Universities Boxing Champion.
