About The Author
Matt Morsia
Matt Morsia, born in North London and raised in Kent, is a highly successful Fitness Influencer and YouTuber, known for the social media platform ‘MattDoesFitness’ which boasts almost 6 million followers across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
A former international athlete specializing in the long and triple jump, Matt was ranked top 3 in the country in 2011. A lower back injury in 2012 forced his retirement from the sport, preventing him from competing at the London Olympic Games. He transitioned to powerlifting and won a silver medal at the European Championships in 2016.
After retiring from international competition, Matt became a PE Teacher before focusing on his growing YouTube fitness channel, which has amassed nearly half a billion views.
In 2020, Matt released his first book, The 24⁄7 Body, which became a Sunday Times Bestseller. He then launched the Morsia App, helping thousands transform their physiques and live healthier lives.
Matt Morsia is also ‘Legend’ in the new BBC One hit series, Gladiators.
