About The Author
Matt McILraith
Matt McIlraith is uniquely positioned to chronicle Robbie Deans’ story. As a former editor of Rugby News and the author of three previous books, McIlraith’s introduction to rugby came through Deans’ exploits with Canterbury in the early 1980s. He later gained unique insights into Deans as a person and coach while working alongside him as media manager for the All Blacks, Crusaders, and Wallabies.
