Matt Hammitt, former frontman for Sanctus Real, is an American singer, songwriter, speaker and Dove Award recipient. While he was with Sanctus Real, the band released eight albums, toured internationally, and released fourteen Top 5 and #1 singles to Christian radio. Though he’s still making music, one of Matt’s greatest passions is ministering to broken families. In 2018, he reached thousands of families alongside KIRK Cameron on the Living Room Reset tour, and as a regular speaker for Family Life’s “Weekend to Remember” events. Matt lives in Tennessee with his wife, Sarah, and their four children. Matt and Sarah are currently producing a film documenting the beauty and pain of their family’s journey with heart disease as their son Bowen approaches his third major open-heart surgery.
