Matt Boudreau (San Francisco) is an audio engineer as well as the creator and host of the critically acclaimed podcast Working Class Audio. As a drummer, Matt’s early career took him through the maze of the music industry while he toured and recorded with a series of bands, winning and losing record deals and learning how records were made on a large scale. From his early exposure to making records with Joe Chiccarelli, Gil Norton and Larry Hirsch, Matt traded drumsticks for faders in 1994 when his passion for audio took over and became his focus. Since then Matt has been through the ups and downs of studio ownership and freelance recording which ultimately lead to the creation of the Working Class Audio podcast. Matt currently lives in the Bay Area with his wife and kids, working out of his home studio mixing and mastering as well as recording bands at his favorite Bay Area studios including Sharkbite, 25th Street Recording and New Improved Recording.
