This contemporary crime novel is such a compelling read: I read it in hungry gulps, unable to tear myself away from this story about the long-term consequences of murder on the idyllic Isle of Wight. Twisty, clever and nuanced, highly recommended!
– Zoë Somerville, author of THE MARSH HOUSESuch an addictive read! Horlock coils her plot like a spring, tighter and tighter until it explodes with brilliantly shocking twists. Those twists! Horlock’s writing is richly textured and cinematic and I think this book is going to be perfect for fans of My Dark Vanessa and Pet by Catherine Chidgey – Jessie Elland, author of THE LADIE UPSTAIRSCompelling and unusual * The Times *A truly transporting read * Woman’s Weekly *A mesmerising … tale of suppressed secrets – Anna Mazzola, author of THE BOOK OF SECRETSAbout The Author
