About The Author

Mary Fabyan Windeatt

Windeatt began her career of writing for the Catholic press around the age of 24. After graduating from San Diego State College in 1934, she went to New York looking for work in advertising. Not finding any, she sent a story to a Catholic magazine, and it was accepted. Eventually, Miss Windeatt wrote for 33 magazines, contributing verse, articles, book reviews and short stories.
