The Boy Who Wanted to be a Knight

It is the greatest wish of the boy's heart to become a Knight.

But when he offers his small Sword in service to the King, the King says something curious:

"A Knight does not always have to fight

A Knight does not always use his might.

A Knight must use his heart and his eyes,

For a Knight must also learn to be wise."

And so on all Hallows Eve, when the veil between worlds has grown thin, the boy embarks on a strange quest for the King. It will take him into the old forest, and require all of his courage and something more.

If he succeeds, he will become a Knight.

She spent her golden years of childhood in Walnut Creek, CA where she could often be found in the treetops singing with the birds, or following butterflies and damselflies through the meadows.
