About the Author

MARK POWELL is the author of the novels Prodigals and Blood Kin. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Breadloaf Writers' Conference. Born and raised in the mountains of South Carolina, he now teaches at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.
