Mark Hearld studied at Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College of Art, London. He has had solo shows at the Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh, York Art Gallery, Compton Verney and Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Alan Powers is a member of the Art Workers’ Guild, and writes widely about 20th-century British art and design.
Lydia Wilson is a contributing editor at New Lines Magazine and writes for the Times Literary Supplement and the New York Review of Books.
