What They're Saying

Critics Review

“The author offers more good help in a few pages than most motivational speakers accomplish in an hour. Immediately engaging and strategically brilliant.” - Jim Horsley, US NAVY BLUE ANGELS (RET.)

“The celebrity first-job examples of Jeff Bezos flipping burgers or Barack Obama scooping ice cream stay with a reader long after the page is turned.” - Dan Martin, HUMAN RESOURCE EXECUTIVE (RET.)

“Imagine a successful life-coach sharing career lessons!” - Jennifer Henshaw, COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

“Instead of resumes, interview tips and spreadsheets, the author digs into the work experience with a focus on our humanity.” - Greg Prescott, TALENT ACQUISITION LEADER

“The tone of this book is relevant and real.” - Tanya Rodriguez, YOUTH SERVICES DIRECTOR

“This book hits a gap in the conversation about what work is and how to navigate through it. The author has major leadership credibility, and life experience chops. His insights transcend industries, age groups and stages of life.” -Francesca Ranieri, BRAND GURU, PODCASTER

“A very honest overview of career complexity, offering a thoughtful, well-supported examination of why so many people feel disengaged and dissatisfied at work.” - Larae Quy, AUTHOR, FORBES BUSINESS COUNCIL
