About The Author
Marion Anstis
Marion Anstis’s career as a herpetologist began in earnest after her retirement from teaching in 2001. Devoting her time to studying and photographing Australian tadpoles and frogs, she published her PhD thesis in 2012, which was adapted to become the first edition of this book. In 2022, to recognise her ground-breaking work, a genus of frogs from Western Australia, Anstisia, was named after her.
